Skin preparation.

You’ve mastered using your foundation brush, and you’re pretty sure you have face makeup  application in general down pat, but are you prepping your skin for makeup? Because piling makeup on top of a face that hasn’t been properly prepped can be bad news. When you’re ready to get glam for a night on the town or need to freshen up your face before heading to work, you shouldn’t just make a beeline straight for your makeup bag. As with most things in life, you need to prepare first. If you skip out on your skin care routine before applying makeup, you could end up with uneven, patchy coverage that wears off way too soon.

Looking on the bright side, however, prepping your skin for makeup application is actually pretty simple all it takes is following these; cleansing that’s making sure you remove impurities like excess oils using the right cleanser ,then use some toner to clean off any remaining impurities ,the third step is boosting your face hydration using a moisturizer, then use a primer to create a smooth base for your make up application as well as it helps extend the wear of your foundation and coancelor after primer, you’re officially prepped for makeup application! As far as your makeup look goes, your options are essentially endless The last step is scrubbing your lips and oiling it a little if there will be lipstick application. Consider your skin type when buying your products (oily, dry, sensitive, uneven and mature skin types ) and take a lot of water and rest to protect your skin, when you are not applying make-up sunscreen is highly recommended.

Africa is very rich in patterns as seen in the repetition of colors and shapes, textures as well as lines that are laid out in different forms of arrangement. African prints are seen in the clothing worn by its people in the manner in which they braid their hair. It makes it easy for one to visualize and conceptualize the patterns, mainly when used in decorations. There are two types of African patterns, namely geometric and symbolic.

Once in a while, it is not a bad thing for someone to grasp an aspect from a different culture. It enables them to move away from what they consider to be their comfort zones. The problem occurs when a person takes something from a minority group and uses it in a demeaning or undesirable way. This kind of usage sends the wrong message to the minority group, and it ends up being termed as cultural appropriation. The dashiki is one of the garments which Africans hold dearly due to its great symbolic importance. When a white wears this clothing fashionably, some African may get offended because they interpret it as disrespect to what they pride in. However, we are in the 21st century, and as long as you are not misusing it, it is okay for one to wear it without the fear of criticism as an example of cultural appropriation.
